- Cremorne Point is spoiled with two ferry wharfs granting you access to the city. Departing from either Old Cremorne Wharf on Kareela Road or Cremorne Point Wharf down at Robertsons Point.

- SCECGS Redlands, a co-educational private school, has its senior campus in Military Road and the junior and middle campus is found in Murdoch Street just around the corner.
- Cremorne Point is also close to a number of elite private schools and highly regarded public schools within the Lower North Shore region.

While Cremorne Point itself is free from any hustle and bustle, buzzy Cremorne Junction is just a down the road and offers a diverse array of fine cafes and restaurants, boutique shops and day-to-day services. These include a local IGA, doctors, dentist surgeries and local pubs.

Also around the corner is Neutral Bay Junction, offering three major supermarkets, and a host of cafes and intimate eateries with a particular preference to Japanese food.

Cremorne Reserve extends approximately 3km around the Cremorne Point peninsula. With a foreshore walk, this area is a great place for a stroll or an athletic run. The real gem at this reserve is the beloved 1920s-inspired harbour side pool with sunbathing decks. Don’t forget to grab your picnic rug on New Year’s Eve and head down to Robertson Point to catch an amazing view of the fireworks by the water’s edge.

Just outside Cremorne Point you will find the stunning waterside Primrose Park. The park is the venue for a number of sporting pursuits and includes tennis courts along with a fabulous children’s play area. It attracts many locals who wish to enjoy the pristine surrounds.

Taking pride of place up on Military Road in the heart of Cremorne is the iconic Art Deco Orpheum Theatre which was restored and revitalised some years ago and is now a drawcard for the movie lover. It is a stunning 1930s Art Deco cinema, complete with wurlitzer pipe organ.
